Seattle's S Atlantic District
Every morning we shape sourdough, fold croissants, and curate a shelf of specialty foods and wines — all within a block of the water. This is what neighborhood eating should feel like.
What We Make
We don't rush the rise. Our bread ferments overnight, our pastries are laminated by hand, and our grocery shelf is stocked with producers we actually know by name.
Levain, ciabatta, focaccia, and seasonal ryes — baked each morning from our starter, which has been feeding us since day one.
Croissants, danishes, tarts, and pies — laminated and filled the old way, with real butter and no shortcuts.
Small-batch olive oils, aged cheeses, house-made preserves, and pantry staples from artisans across the Pacific Northwest.
A rotating selection of Washington vineyards and Old World finds, chosen to pair with everything on our counter.
Why Neighbors Stay
Every loaf and pastry leaves the oven between 5:00 a.m. and noon. What doesn't sell today is composted — nothing goes stale on our shelves.
Our grocery shelf features suppliers within two hours of Seattle. When the cherry crop is good, you'll taste it in our preserves.
Stay for a pour and a plate, or grab a baguette on your way home. Both are welcome here.
Our Story
The Vineyard Table started as a weekend market stall with a single sourdough recipe and a conviction that good food shouldn't require a reservation. Three years later, we still shape every loaf by hand and still turn down suppliers who won't tell us where their ingredients come from.
Our space on S Atlantic was chosen because it's where people actually live — not just pass through. We want you to walk in knowing your name, and walk out with something worth putting on your table tonight.
From the Kitchen
We've been coming here every Saturday morning since they opened. The sourdough alone is worth the drive, but it's the whole experience — the wine, the cheese, the way they remember your order — that keeps us coming back.
